Description
One-day event with the goal of growing the green roof market in Washington DC and positioning green roofs as the premier solution towards many of DC's storm water management challenges. The programming of this event will provide a detailed look at the policies, necessities, challenges, and benefits of designing, installing, and maintaining green roofs and walls. The event will look at what policies the municipality can adopt to best incentivize green roof development, and what designers and installers can expect when building them, as well as some best practices. The event will also host a panel discussion with industry experts on why green roof projects are undertaken, as well as how to promote green roof projects.
