This is a 7.5 hour live lecture presentation with the instructors and students together in the same room. It will be conducted in a handicap-accessible conference room with ample seating space and writing surface for all attendees. Bound written materials, authored by the faculty, will be distributed to all participants at the program. Attendance will be monitored and reported to LA/CES. This course covers stormwater permit requirements and procedures, stormwater science and its application, stormwater pollution prevention plans, stormwater best management practices, and stormwater inspection, monitoring, maintenance, and recordkeeping plans.

Learners will be able to reference federal and state stormwater permit requirements and participate in the stormwater permitting process.
Learners will be able to understand and discuss key scientific principles of stormwater and apply them when considering stormwater management planning.
Learners will be able to assist in the development of stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP)and plans for inspecting, monitoring, maintaining, and keeping records of management strategies.
Learners will be able to identify, describe and be able to select appropriate stormwater management practices for given projects.
