Description
Sustainable stormwater solutions (i.e., Green Infrastructure) can be applied at many different scales including on small sites, throughout neighborhoods, and on campuses. This program gives the attendee the opportunity to learn key terminology, and understand how green infrastructure solutions can be developed and observe their effectiveness through several case studies.

Learning Outcomes
1. To introduce and reinforce the principles of sustainable site design and stormwater management
2. To identify and understand progressive strategies that provide a “greener” or more sustainable approach to site design and stormwater management
3. To demonstrate how stormwater measures can be applied at various scales, from site-specific to regional
4. To review case studies in which sustainable stormwater strategies have been planned, designed, permitted, and implemented. These case studies will allow the attendee to develop a baseline level of understanding regarding where and how various sustainable stormwater strategies can be implemented and how these strategies affect site and building development
