Description
This four hour interactive online course covers some of the basic facts about flooding, as well as the different flood zones. It also focuses on techniques used to mitigate flooding problems in special flood hazard areas. This course focuses on some of the steps that should be taken on buildings in special flood hazard areas. It covers the requirements for openings in foundations, walls and wet flood proofing, as well as flood resistant materials. This course includes a multiple choice quiz at the end. You must have Flash Player Version 7 or higher to view some parts of this course. We also recommend you view this course in Internet Explorer.
