Description
It is great introduction for landscapers who are looking to get into dry stone walling.

Over the course of the day each participant will build about 25 sq. ft. of wall (one side), using local field stone. Participants will learn all the basic rules of structural walling that can be applied to any type of stone and project.

The workshop begins with a brief verbal and visual introduction covering safety, basic terminology, and methods.

Goals for the workshop include:
Safe construction practices
Understanding walling terminology
Basic knowledge of correct building methods and techniques
Ability to identify properly built walls
After attending a workshop, participants will have the knowledge to build their own dry stone walls in a safe and structurally sound manner. The workshop also helps train participants to identify correct walling methods and techniques in all dry stone walls.
