Description
Learn about many of our native tree species in the glory of their spectacular fall foliage! Do you know why leaves change color in the fall? Or which native tree was originally used to flavor root beer? The class will cover these topics, as well as tree ecology and the ecosystem services they provide. You’ll learn characteristics to identify the trees of the Preserve. Presentation/discussion followed by outdoor tour. Call (215) 862-2924 to register.
