Description
This is a 7.5 hour live lecture presentation with the instructors and students together in the same room. It will be conducted in a handicap-accessible conference room with ample seating space and writing surface for all attendees. Bound written materials, authored by the faculty, will be distributed to all participants at the program. Attendance will be monitored and reported to LA/CES. This course covers stormwater requirments and procedures, the science of stormwater, sustainable site initiatives, stormwater pollution prevention plans, stormwater best management practices, and inspection plans and maintenance.

Learning Outcomes

Learners will be able to understand and comply with national and state stormwater regulations and per requirements.

Learners will be able to contribute to the development and implementing of stormwater pollution prevention plans and be able to discuss the principles and goals of the Sustainable Site Initiative.

Learners will be able to evaluate and select the appropriate storm water best management practices.

Learners will be able to develop plans for the inspection, monitoring, maintaining , and recordeeping for stormwater management plans.
