This course will clarify the difference between geological and commercial identification of stone to reduce confusion and potential misuse of stone, teach how to, given the type of stone and either its weight or size, calculate its size or weight from its density, and will enable you to identify six major finishes on a surface of fabricated stone by touch and sight.
