Description This full-day course explores plant and growing media science and describes the unique conditions under which green roof vegetation is expected to perform. Attendees will learn how design and planting methods can be used to achieve a variety of aesthetic objectives. Best practices for material supply and scheduling, as well as common maintenance procedures such as irrigation, fertilization, and monitoring are illustrated via detailed case studies.
