Description
This course is designed to introduce you to the manufacturing process of precast concrete and hydraulically pressed concrete pavers through an interactive tour of our manufacturing facility. The tour focuses on how raw materials are used to create different colors and how the use of different finishing techniques create different looks. We will discuss current ASTM standards for precast concrete and pressed pavers and how products that meet these standards should matter to specifiers. Furthermore you will learn about the green practices in place throughout the facility and how these products contribute toward a sustainable design.
