Motivating and Mentoring - A Profit Center (RV-7742)

Start Date

End Date

Description
Whether in an office, or in the field, you may already be involved in motivating or mentoring others at your workplace. This 1-hour interactive online course is intended to review and reinforce motivational and mentoring concepts that you may have used or evaluated in your profession. If you are starting a career as a manager, hopefully some of these concepts will provoke thought about how to motivate or mentor peers or employees in your company.

This course also includes the author's observations concerning the motivation of non-English speaking workers from various cultures, focusing on mutual responsibility to create a win-win situation. The importance of this strategy continues to increase as the work place grows and becomes more diverse. It is hoped that these observations, and subsequent management suggestions, will be used as a basis to create a profit center that offers greater opportunities for management and workers to prosper.
