Description
This course explores the African Perspectives on Urban Development Planning. The instructor addresses ways of understanding the enormous changes to cities occurring in sub-saharan African countries. Elaborating on the theoretical and ethical challenges posed by unprecedented urbanisms in Africa, and working at the interface of theory and practice in the global South, she reflects on how equipped we are to face the urban planning futures.
