Description
Learn more about the process of developing recreational master plan for Riley Ranch Nature Reserve and the unique public outreach, permitting and development challenges encountered throughout the project. Through presentation and tours the presenters will discuss issues related to allowing the public controlled access to a nature reserve. Discussion will include how the terrain and natural and cultural resources on site affected design and permitting. With nearly 2 miles of rim rock and river frontage, Riley Ranch presents a number of challenges in providing controlled access in a safe and efficient manner while protecting the public from potential harm.
