Description
In recent years, moisture-related floor problems have become one of the costly and common issues in the construction industry. This course will review some common moisture related problems as well as examine the science behind vapor transmission and dew point. In addition, the course will discuss the current industry standards and recommendations as it relates to below slab vapor protection, with a focus on ASTM E1643. The course will also examine some ideal specifications that will effectively reduce deficiencies in vapor barrier/retarders.
