- Explain the disconnect between homebuyers’ desire for fireplaces and the current low incident rate of fireplaces in new homes, and how building professionals can optimize their profits.
- Discuss the following three steps that are required to increase homebuyer satisfaction in terms of fireplace design and installation:
~understand client’s wants and needs;
~determine room proportion/use;
~match the right solution to the specific homeowner type
- Define key design trends in fireplaces including “traditional realism,” “modern fire art,” and “fusion” design.
- Describe some of the current design applications of both indoor and outdoor fireplaces.
