Description
This is a 6.5 hour live lecture presentation with the instructors and students together in the same room. It will be conducted in a handicap-accessible conference room with ample seating space and writing surface for all attendees. Bound written materials, authored by the faculty, will be distributed to all participants at the program. Attendance will be monitored and reported to LA CES.

This course covers stormwater permit requirements, stormwater management plan development, storm drain systems, MS4 best management practices, and requirements for Phase II monitoring, recordkeeping and reporting.

Learning Outcomes
Learners will be able to differentiate National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System individual and general permits and discuss their requirements, milestones and compliance schedules, and they will be able to broadly diferentiate Phase I and Phase II rules.

Learners will be able to assist with the preparation of the required Notice of Intent and the development of stormwater plan.

Learners will be able to identify and evaluate stormwater best management practices to meet the six minimum control measures and total maximum daily load strategies.

Learners will be able to explain requirements for Phase II monitoring, recordkeeping and reporting.
