Description
Landscape Architects design the most playgrounds, dog parks, athletic fields, commercial properties, parking lot and road medians, bocce and baggo courts, tennis courts and rooftop recreation areas. Synthetic turf is fast becoming a state-of-the-art option for all these applications and more. In this course landscape architects will learn about the different types of synthetic turf, when to specify which type based on planned usage and what the business case is for synthetic turf in the most common applications. The course will end with a thorough review of both sides of the “environmental impact” question regarding synthetic turf.
