Green Design and Low-Impact Development in Stormwater Regulations Addressed by PICP

Start Date

End Date

Description
This presentation is on how the multi-faceted benefits of permeable interlocking concrete pavement (PICP) in green design and low-impact development address stormwater regulations. As there are almost as many stormwater regulations as there are federal, provincial, state and local jurisdictions to administer them, the presentation categorizes the many approaches and then gives examples on how PICP addresses practically all of them. While the material isn’t a technical treatise on PICP design, construction and maintenance, some technical terms and performance data will be provided to better understand how PICP meets stormwater regulations.
