Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design: Surveys & Floor Plan Reviews Webcast (RV-10542AW)
This course will introduce Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), as it pertains to professionals assisting their clients to design or obtain safer built environments. Students will understand the CPTED strategies so that they can incorporate them based on clients' needs or better understand the strategies when dealing with security planners or consultants. Displayed examples will include physical security surveys and architectural plan reviews so that after-market security countermeasures can be reduced or eliminated. CPTED can also assist professionals with bidding processes.
