It is increasingly critical to be conscious of the environmental impact of the materials and methods we choose to use in construction. Concrete is one of the most widely-used materials in construction around the world, and it is important to consider its place in sustainable construction. This course discusses the use of polymers in concrete in high performance flooring applications, including advantages and enhanced characteristics that lead to longer life and use in resurfacing and repair, saving the environmental and economic costs of new construction.
