Description
This course starts with myths about fertilizers regarding chemical fertilizers versus organic ones. It explains the roles of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Slow release fertilizers are discussed as well. The definition and role of probiotics is explained at length. The course ends with a discussion of pH and its role in soil fertility, available nutrients and lists plants with specific pH tolerances.
