Description

Baby boomers are aging. This three-hour interactive course examines the connection between elderly population’s specific needs and the design of their cities, with inclusion of requirements for disabled elderly through the intent of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This course will also cover the most common redesigns for infrastructure and development patterns adapting cities that design professionals should consider to meet the needs of the disabled elderly.
