Description
This 3-hour interactive online course provides a basic overview of alternative dispute resolution as a means to avoid litigation. It specifically focuses on mediation and arbitration as techniques that can be employed after the completion of a project to avoid litigation. Examining the advantages and disadvantages of litigation in conjunction with both mediation and arbitration, the course discusses the circumstances in which each is most effective, the role of the mediator or arbitrator, the process involved in each technique, and the outcome of each process. This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end. You must have Flash Player Version 7 or higher to view some parts of this course. We also recommend you view this course in Internet Explorer.
