Green Infrastructure and Stormwater Management has driven its way to the forefront of sustainable development within the urban context. Green infrastructure has risen from a notion of subtle environmentalism to a tangible solution for volume stormwater mitigation. Dynamic, unstatic, and evolving, the sheer diversity of best management practices available to architects, landscape architects, general contractors, and developers has made green infrastructure a viable alternative to gray infrastructure. Through policy, incentives, and performance products, we have entered into a new age of green infrastructure to supply the ever increasing demands of urban stormwater management.

Learning Objectives:
1. Designers and specifiers will learn about the changes and challenges facing past, present, and future implementations for green infrastructure to manage and/or mitigate stormwater effectively.
2. Designers and specifiers will learn about the numerous incentives available that are driving sustainable development nationwide by relieving the burden of expenditure from potential clients while also maintaining design intent.
3. Attendees will become aware of how various echelons of stormwater policy are driving green infrastructure performance and design.
4. Attendees will become versed in the diverse options available for stormwater and green infrastructure best management practices presently on the market.
