Winter injury is among the most common forms of environmental plant damage in the Midwest. Winter injury may result from a wide array of stresses including extreme cold, temperature fluctuations, desiccation and mammal damage. In this program Dr. Bert Cregg, associate professor of Horticulture and Forestry at Michigan State University will describe the how’s and why’s of winter injury and steps that you can take to protect landscape plants from injury.
