Description
The newly opened Chicago Riverwalk, viewed from a lighting perspective, is a project located in a flood zone that requires all fixtures to be IP68 rated. In this session, you will hear and see the challenges of designing playful, welcoming and attractive lighting that is governed by stringent city requirements. It is possible to move from the stark, security-style lighting of the past and provide a fun integrated solution that can handle an active flood zone.
