Description
The Walk-Abouts are "hands-on" training events for Green Industry professionals. Participants look at plants, plant pests, plant diseases, and other points of interest at various locations. Discussions focus on plant selection, plant health management, plant problem diagnostics and learning how to solve plant problems.

Learning Outcomes
Participants will learn how to effectively use the “diagnostic process” to accurately identify plant pest, disease, and physiological problems in landscapes.
Participants will determine through group discussion the most appropriate recommendations for solving plant problems including plant selection and site considerations.
Rather than just learning why good plants go bad, learn how to prevent good plant from going bad.
Participants will learn how to increase the overall efficacy of plant management business decisions.
Participants will learn how to select the right plant for the right location, how to access plant health and how to diagnosis plant problems and solutions.
